The Edinvar Flat was designed and installed by Steve Bonner, from Edinvar Housing, among others as part of the Joseph Rowntree/ Chartered Institute of Housing research grant and was one of The CUSTODIAN project partners and has been used extensively in the design of the CUSTODIAN software. Its design was specifically for older people and people with disabilities.
