This animation shows some of the basic feature that can be applied to a smart home. The first part shows that the room can be connected to teh outside world by automatically dialling for help shouldthe be an emergency.

The second part shows how the home can turn the lights on when someone enters the room (and turn them off when they leave).

The third part shows that the home can monitor who is at the front or back door as well as allowing the occupant to turn things on by a basic control unit.

The final part is more advanced and concerns the fact that the home can run bath and washbasin, automate showers and monitor the toilets activity
